Rule 47
Educational qualification
: (1) Armed police personnel for promotion will be given a maximum of seven marks for their educational qualification as follows:- Educational Qualification First Class Second Class Third Class
(a) For the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the post currently held 6 5.5 5
(b) Additional 1 0.75 0.50
for educational qualification above the minimum educational qualification (c) In the case of armed police personnel who do not have the educational qualification as per clause (a), the educational qualification of one level below 3 2.5 2
(2) In the case of unopened certificate, the rank will be maintained according to the level determined by the university and if it is not the same, the marks will be given as the second rank.
(3) When calculating the educational qualification points for promotion to the post of Superintendent of Armed Police or above, the educational qualification required for the post of Inspector of Armed Police taken through open competition shall be considered as the minimum educational qualification.
(4) Educational Qualification In the case of the Armed Police personnel appointed in the prescribed post of simple literacy, S.L.C. or any qualification below that will be considered as the minimum educational qualification and will be given marks equal to second class.
